• The City of Dessie in Wollo, Ethiopia
  Dessie is a multi-ethnic city located in the north-centeral part of Ethiopia on the road from Addis Ababa to Mekele in the South Wollo administrative Zone.
• Borkena Revier in Dessie, Wollo
  This is the Borkena River gorge in Dessie, Wollo. Borkana river is a river in north-central Ethiopia which is a downstream of Dessie and Kombolcha towns. A tributary of the Awash river, the Borkana joins its parent stream in Tshaffa at town of Harbu.
• The Lake Hayq in Wollo, Ethiopia
  Lake Hayq lies two kilometers east of Hayq city which is the home of Istifanos Monastery, an important landmark in Ethiopian Church history. The Lake is located 30 kilometers north of Dessie in the Tehuledere woreda of the South-Wollo Zone.
• Saint Georg Cherch in Lalibela, Wollo
  The Church of Saint George is one of eleven rock-hewn monolithic churches in Lalibela, a city in Lasta district, Wollo. Originally named Roha, the historical and religious site was named Lalibela after the King Gebre Mesqel Lalibela of the Zagwe dynasty, who commissioned its construction. The Church of Saint George was carved downwards from a type of volcanic tuff. This is the sole architectural material that was used in the structure. It has been dated to the late 12th or early 13th century AD, and thought to have been constructed during the reign of King Gebre Mesqel Lalibela, of the late Zagwe dynasty. It is among the best known and last built of the eleven churches in the Lalibela area, and has been referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World.

The nonprofit organization, Wollo Development Association, carries out commitments of its worldwide members and supporters to assist the poor and vulnerable in Ethiopia, specifically in Wollo province. We are motivated to promote human development by responding to major emergencies, fighting diseases and nurturing peaceful and just societies as our capacity permits. As part of the humanitarian mission of the Wollo Development Inc., we work with local, national, and international institutions to assist people in Wollo Province with their immediate or critical needs.

እያንዳንዳችን ባለን አቅምና ችሎታ የግለሰቦችንም ሆነ የህብረተሰቦችን አመለካከት ለተሻለ ኑሮ ለዉጥ ማምጣት ይቻላል። የወሎ ልማት የሰበዓዊነት ድርጅት በአለም ላይ ከሚገጙ ከሌሎች ግለሰቦችና ደጋፊወች በመተባበር በወሎ አካባቢ ለሚገኙ በተለያዩ ችግሮች የተጠመዱ ትምህርት ቤቶችን፣ ድሃ ህብረተሰቦችን ለመርዳት ዋና ትኩረቱ ነው። በተጨማሪ ድርጅቱ ሰበዓዊነትን በተመለከተ በአካባቢዉ ላይ በደረሱ አጣዳፊ ችገሮች ላይ ብሎም በተለያዩ የትምህርት ቤት ፖሮጀክት እና የበሽታ መከላከል ላይ ሰርቶአል ወደፊትም ይሰራል።
