• The City of Dessie in Wollo, Ethiopia
  Dassie is a multi-ethnic city located in the north-centeral part of Ethiopia on the road from Addice Ababa to Mekele in the South Wollo administrative Zone.
• Borkena Revier in Dessie, Wollo
  This is the Borkena Revier gorge in Dessie, Wollo. Borkana river is a river in north-central Ethiopia which is a downstream of Dassie and Kombolcha towns. A tributary of the Awash river, the Borkana joins its parent stream in Tshaffa at town of Harbu.
• The Lake Hayq in Wollo, Ethiopia
  Lake Hayq lies two kilometers east of Hayq city which is the home of Istifanos Monastery, an important landmark in Ethiopian Church history. The Lake is located 30 kilometers north of Dessie in the Tehuledere woreda of the South-Wollo Zone.
• Saint Georg Cherch in Lalibela, Wollo
  The Church of Saint George is one of eleven rock-hewn monolithic churches in Lalibela, a city in Lasta district, Wollo. of Ethiopia. Originally named Roha, the historical and religious site was named Lalibela after the King Gebre Mesqel Lalibela of the Zagwe dynasty, who commissioned its construction. The Church of Saint George was carved downwards from a type of volcanic tuff. This is the sole architectural material that was used in the structure. It has been dated to the late 12th or early 13th century AD, and thought to have been constructed during the reign of King Gebre Mesqel Lalibela, of the late Zagwe dynasty. It is among the best known and last built of the eleven churches in the Lalibela area, and has been referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World..

About the other Projects

WDA also working with other poor students in Raya, Wollo (Ethiopia) and the implementation is ongoing. In addition, we will be reporting similar support program that is already planned and continuing in Yegeu (የጅና)፣ and Borena ፣ቦረና (Wollo,Ethiopia). As soon as our representatives provide us the details of the remaining plan and progress, we will report to our audience and members very soon.

In the meantime, we would like to let you know that WDA is planning a fundraising to be held on the summer of 2016. All the necessary details will be provided when time permits.

Most important, those students you helped wanted to pass a message to our members and supporters of the April 25, 2015 fundraising by expressing their appreciation, your kindness, and generosity. WDA believes that if we work together and show compassion to the needy children especially for poor students; we can make a difference to one child’s life.

የወሎ ልማት ማህበር በ፳፩፭ (2015) አዘጋጀቶ ባቀረበው የፈነድ ሬዚንግ ምሽት ብሎም በተስበስበችው ትንሽ ገንዘብ በራያ ቆቦ (ወሎ) በሮቢት ከተማ ማየትና መስማት የተሳናቸው የልዩ ፍላጎት ተማሪዎችን ረድቶአል። ለመኝታ የሚያገለግሉ ቁሳቁሦችን ገዝቶ ለማእከሉ አበርክቶአል።

የወሎ መረዳጃ ማህበር በራያ ቆቦ (ወሎ) ብቻ ሳይወስን በሌሎች ከተማወችም፣ የተችገሩ ተማሪወችን ለመርዳት ሰፋ ያለ ፕሮግራም ይዞ እየተንቀሳቀስ ነው። ለጊዜው በየጅና፣ በቦረና፣ ከተማወች በወሎ ልማት ማህበር አባሎች የተመረጡና የተቸገሩ ተማሪዋችን ለሁለት (2) ትምርት ቤቶች ለመርዳት በሂደት ላይ ነው።

ሊሻን መንግስቴ (የማህበሩ አባል) የወሎ ልማት ማህበር አባሎችና ኮሚቴዉ በሠጧት መመሪያ መሠረት፣ ቁሳቁሦችን በአስተማማኝ ሁናቴ አስገዝታ ለማእከሉ በአስተማማኝ ሁናቴ ስለአበረከተችና ብሎም ሥራውን ተከታትላ ከጥሩ ፍጻሜ ላይ በማድረሧ፣ በጣም ከፍ ያለ ምስጋና ኮሚቴዉ በማህበሩ ስም ያቀርባል።
